Simply a fabulous year for us!

What a year it has been and it's not over yet! So far this year the Simply Bows and Chair Covers team has not only grown to 11 offices across the UK but it has also won a number of regional and national awards and we are absolutely thrilled! Here is just a short round up of our year of awards so far.....

North East Business Awards 2012

We were invited to the North East Business Awards earlier this year and won Best Newcomer beating entrants across all business sectors from Teeside, County Durham, Newcastle and Northumberland.

Theo Paphitis SBS

Each Sunday between 5pm and 7.30pm Theo, best known for appearing on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den series and being Chairman of Ryman Stationary, asks his quarter of a million followers on Twitter to send him details of their small businesses and why they deserve to be named as one of his top six of the week.
Using the hash-tag #SBS (Small Business Sunday) thousands of businesses contact Theo each week which he then reviews and chooses who he deems to be the best. Winners are then named via his Twitter account on Monday evening and added to his successful website, http://theopaphitissbs.com/ . Week commencing 22.10.12 Simply Bows and Chair Covers was one of the six chosen businesses.

Franchise Marketing Awards

For the second year running we were thrilled to be runner up in the Franchise Marketing Awards for Best Website. The winner of the this award was McDonalds!

Women in the Network awards

Simply Bows and Chair Covers were delighted to be a contender for the13th Annual North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and were delighted to win Best Small Business sponsored by Women in the Network.

Women on Wednesday's

Every Wednesday, Jacqueline Gold (Chief Executive of Knickerbox and Ann Summers) invites female business owners to tweet her their business and she chooses her favourite three to become #WOW (Women on Wednesday) winners. I'm so pleased to share with you that today, she chose Simply Bows and Chair Covers!

National Chamber of Commerce Awards

As mentioned earlier on the 29th November we head down to London for possibly our most exciting award ceremony yet...

The Chamber Awards were launched by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) in 2004 to recognise and celebrate business excellence through the successes and achievements of its Accredited Chambers of Commerce and their members.
We are a finalist for the Most Promising New Business in the UK Award which is a tremendous honour! Wish us luck!
