Your Wedding Show is being held on Sunday 14^th September at Carlisle Racecourse from 10:30am until 3pm.

 

 

 

Receive a glass of ‘celebration punch’ and petit four on arrival before taking a look around two full floors of exhibitors featuring local wedding industry experts.

Well.... Wednesday night brough all of the competing couples together at The Hilltop Hotel for BRIDAL BOOTCAMP!!! Couples had to compete against each other in a range of physical and fun challenges to be narrowed down to just four couples.

The four best couples were then put through to the final stage of the competition (there were 5 hence the title but one couple have sadly dropped out) .... lets meet them!

Simply Hitched: A Simply Bows Real Bride: Our own Kristy Giblin!

Did you know that not only does Kristy, Area Director of Simply Bows and Chair Covers West Northumberland and Cumbria run one of our busiest offices but she was also originally a Simply Bows and Chair Covers' Real Bride before she joined the company! 

We adored Kristy's classical style and thought we would share some photo's with you as she tied the knot with the lovely Rob at Lumley Castle.

Kristy (then Small) left her family home in Stocksfield in a Horse Drawn Carriage to her parish Church in Bywell with her father.

The Bride wore a Sophia Tolli wedding dress from Rosina Brown Bridal in Stocksfield and Dune Bridal Shoes with a lucky silver sixpence fixed to the bottom of the right shoe!

St Peter's Church gates were covered in beautiful flower displays, inside of the church was adorned with cream Roses and Hydrangeas from the Brides family garden for a wonderful service conducted by Rev. Bill Rigby.

The wedding reception was held in the Barons Hall at Lumley Castle in Durham. The room was decorated by Simply Bows and Chair Covers with side bows of Bronze organza and matching gold charger plates. The table centre's were created by Wedding Flowers For You and the By Wendy designed the table stationary, table plan and wedding invitations.

Simply Vote! The 2012 Wedding Industry Awards

The 2012 Wedding Industry Awards are being held to recognise and reward excellence across the wedding industry over 19 different categories on both a regional and national level.

The culmination of the Awards process will be the Awards due to take place in London in January 2012. The Awards event will showcase the very best talent the wedding industry has to offer.

The wedding industry dedicates itself to creating special occasions for its clients. For one night in January 2012 it will be the suppliers' turn and we would love to be there! Simply Weddings: Weekly Photographs

Each week we are given the opportunity to be creative and work in some of the most stunning wedding venues across the UK. Below  Simply Bows and Chair Covers North East Team thought you may like to take a bite from the 'Apple of Inspiration' with photos from some of their highlights from last week.

At Gisborough Hall we dressed the Madoc Suite with Gunmetal Silver bows and Diamante Brooches.

Langley Castle

Langley Castle was dressed in double bows of Heather and Navy Blue to create a fabulous two tone effect.

The Crown Hotel

We dressed the Garden Suite at The Crown Hotel in Wetheral with Bronze and Chocolate double bows finished off with matching Bronze Runners and Gold Charger Plates.

Assembly Rooms, Newcastle

Durham University held their Graduation Ball at The Assembly Rooms last week and asked us to dress it in double bows of Peacock Blue and Fuchsia to go with their Alice and Wonderland theme.

Rockliffe Hall

Bronze and Gold two tone bows dressed the Orangery at Rockliffe Hall in spectacular fashion.

Redworth Hall was dressed in vibrant two tone Purple and Heather bows and looked magnificent in such grand surroundings.
