It is well documented that millions of little girls all over the world dream of their big day from such a young age. Many children dress up as brides in sheets and pillow cases and older children even keep a wedding book just like Monica off Friends years and years before they even meet their groom!
But now research shows that it is now the Grooms to be who are dreaming of their big day from a young age and have a no expense spared attitude when it comes to planning their nuptuals.
A recent Barclay's survey reveals only 9% of females would spend their savings on a fairytale wedding yet nearly double this (16%) of men would! The 'Marriage Vs Mortgage' argument amongst young couples is still prominent yet this research leads us to believe it is now the women who have their sensible heads on where previously it was always the men traditionally trying to reign in their wives to be's expensive taste!
Ladies... we say make the most of this change in attitude... you may spend the rest of your life trying to get them to open their wallet! ;)
