Yes! The decadent Ballroom is the ideal room to have a wedding reception in, while the Lounge will suit the more intimate gathering. We can cater for up to 150. Intimate packages start at £995

We have 28 en suite bedrooms at the Blue Bell Hotel. Accommodation offers the age old charm expected of such a well established old coaching inn with a mix of superior and standard rooms. The décor in all the rooms reflects the traditional and historic ambience of the hotel but with modern high quality reproduction fittings, often incorporating classic style four poster beds, and clean, stylish soft furnishings.

Our Garden restaurant is open daily. We have an extensive wine list. Banqueting and buffet options also available

Do you have any sporting/ spa/ golf facilities on site? 

Our 9 hole golf course is a short walk away!

We can accommodate up to 200 ceremony, 180 sat down meal and 300 evening reception (all depending on set up).

Any event between 30 – 700 (depending on set up and requirements)

We do not provide accommodation, but we are in town centre location with 15 traditional B&B’s and also we offer a discount with the Hogs Head hotel.

Our menu offer both traditional and modern options which are cooked from scratch in our kitchens, the catering is provided by Ramside Estate one of the biggest catering providers in the North East. We have a large and affordable range of delicious wines.

Simply Medieval Splendour... Langley Castle Wedding Fayre date announced- one not to be missed!

On Sunday 24th November Langley Castle open their doors for their Autumn Wedding Fayre. Doors open at 11am and the event closes at 4pm.

Simply Real Life Bride: Our very own MD Sarah!

Last month Simply Bows and Chair Covers Managing Director Sarah Pittendrigh married Stewart... her ex husband.... again!

The couple have known each other since childhood and married when Sarah was 22 and Stewart 23... in 2002 the couple split after things just didnt work out as the stresses and strains of daily life and two demanding careers took over. It broke both of their hearts yet they remained close friends supporting each  other through life's up's and downs and raising their lovely son William.

Years later, the couple had been through so much together both when married and after divorce, a strong friendship and mutual love and respect still remained and romace began to blossom once again! After a family break to The Feversham Arms last year, Stewart suggested they tied the knot once more, this time for keeps... and a date was set!

Here is a sneak peek into the beautiful day with glorious photographs taken by Karen McGowran, Flowers by bridesmaid Claire from Wedding Flowers For You and stationary by Julia Noble of Noble Fine Art. Sarah's other bridesmaid Elain is Sales Manager at Close House Hotel where the nuptuals took place. With a fabulous event dressing business (if we do say so ourselves!) and such skilled friends and bridal party it's no wonder it was a truly beautiful day!

Does your hotel cater for weddings?

Most receptions involve arrival drinks in the Library or, in the summer, on the Terrace and East lawn. This is followed by the wedding party welcoming the guests to a seated meal for between 40 and 160 guests.

The food is of the highest quality and menus can be tailored to suit your needs, excellent selection of wines and we also offer good value drinks packages.

The day-time reception blends into an enjoyable evening function with finger buffet meals for up to 200 guests, dancing and a late licence allowing your function to end at around midnight.
