We are Heather Taylor, Leanne Clark and Nicola Nelson. We Cover the Newcastle and Gateshead Area. Some of our Venues are: The Baltic, Dissington Hall, Horton Grange, The Marriott to name just a few.

What is your background?
We are all from the Hotel Industry. A Front of House Manager, an Events Manager and a wedding Coordinator! We therefore all have the experience needed to dress events and weddings with an eye for detail and strive for perfection.

Why did you take a franchise with Simply Bows and Chair Covers?
Simply Bows and Chair Covers was a company we had all worked with in our hotels, it was and still is, renowned as an industry leader and is an extremely professional  company who provide quality products. We did not hesitate in taking the opportunity to join and established and respected company when the opportunity arose.

Why do you love working for yourself?

It is great to be able to organise your day to fit in with personal circumstances, and also benefit from the hard work you put in rather than someone else.

Why do you love being a Simply Bows and Chair Covers franchisee?
We love being franchisee’s, as in the Words of Tina Turner, Its Simply the Best, better than all the rest !

Where do you see you, and your franchise in 1 years time and also 3 years time?

We are in this for the long term and hope to increase business year on year and establish ourselves as a highly recommendable company and continue to knock the socks off the competitors constantly keeping ahead of the competition with our fabulous new designs and ideas and offering a seamless service to customers and venues alike. We also want to keep up to date with current trends and designs and continue to be a market leader in supplying brides with our more unique offerings that can rarely be seen outside of London.

Simply brings a tear!

This video of a groom serenading his bride as she walks down the aisle brought a tear to our eye and we thought we would share the YouTube sensation with you in case you haven't came across it yet yourselves....

Niall Donnelly from Omagh sings his own rendition of  Ronan Keating's 'This I Promise You' to his very nervous bride-to-be Jill as she walks up the aisle.

Watch the video here.. with a tissue in hand!

What are your first names?

Chris and Hannah

Where and when did you get engaged?

 Donnington Castle, May 2008

What was your wedding date?

14th March 2014

Where did you get married?

Shaw Registry Office and then The Donnington Valley Hotel.

Why did you choose your venue?

We chose The Donnington Valley Hotel because of the setting. Its beautiful for photos and also the flexibility and the proximity to our friends and family in the area. The Donnington Valley Hotel lies in the heart Berkshire near Newbury, it has 111 rooms and  has its own Health Club a& Spa  with swimming pool, also  a challenging 18 hole golf course. Its a fab place to hold a wedding reception.

Did you have a “theme”?

Not a theme as such but our colour scheme was burgundy, red, ivory and gold.

Why did you choose Simply Bows and Chair Covers and what were they like to work with?

Great! Straightforward, helpful, creative and a much more reasonable price than the rest!

What sort of dress did you choose and where from?

An ivory off the shoulder dress with a flower design on the trail, bought from Helen Douglas House

Who was your photographer?

Gemma McGoey

What “special touches” did you add to your day?

I made my own table names. Everyone had a lotto ticket and a big bunch of flowers for the 2 mums and my Bridesmaid.

What was your favourite part of the day?

It probably has to be the registry office, Chris and I don’t spend much time apart yet we did prior to the wedding which made it all a bit more special and quite emotional for us both when we did meet at the registry office.. which I didn’t expect at all!

Where did you go on honeymoon?

Nice, France

What would be your top tip for another bride to be?

It is a really stressful time; try to call in as many people to help you as you can! Don't be afraid to ask!

Simply Beautiful Yet Practical Bridal Lingerie...

Ultimo are the latest company to release a bridal range for 2014 but I have to say, I am really impressed!

Their unique selection of bridal lingerie solutions lend themselves to all manner of wedding dress styles.

One of the biggest problems with wedding dresses when it comes to underwear is the strapless dress solution.. you need some support yet want some cleavage that many strapless bras don't give you. Ultimo's Bridal Multiway Bra from their new collection amazingly manages to give you both... support and shape yet doesn't flatten the chest but enhances it for a great cleavage! Everyone's a winner!

Their Bridal French Knicker collection allows an alternative to a normal brief (where a thong is not wanted) yet rather than be unflattering (and dare we say a little old woman like?!) their feminine and flirty french knicker style are perfect for your special day. Crafted from soft satin and luxurious eyelash lace, finished with a pearl drop and delicate blue ribbon bow they are anything but dowdy!

Tailored pin-tuck detailing and sumptuous satin make this beautiful collection truly  beautiful whilst meeting the practical requirements of bridal lingerie too. Oh and did we mention it is also super sexy... ideal for the wedding night too! ;)
